Opt-Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To stop receiving messages, simply reply with the word “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. After sending “STOP” you will no longer receive messages from MCEPA.

No Message Storage

We do not store the content of SMS messages sent. Messages are sent solely for the purpose of delivering payment reminders or notifications of past due electric service bills. Once sent, these messages are not retained by MCEPA.

Compliance

This Privacy Policy complies with all applicable privacy laws and guidelines, including the CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association) standards. Our SMS service is used exclusively for service-related activities and remains in full compliance with all relevant regulations.
